The Oasi nella Crescita® Plasmon Program Is Equipped With a Digital Platform Aimed at Monitoring and Improving Processes Toward Greater Sustainability. Over 80 Agricultural Partners Are Involved, and 1,200 Hectares of Land Are Monitored, With the Goal of Reducing the Environmental Impact of the Wheat Supply Chain by 30%.
Plasmon, the infant food brand of the Kraft Heinz group, has renewed its collaboration with xFarm Technologies to advance the digital transformation of its wheat supply chain. The partnership, active since 2021 and extended through 2027, aims to improve the monitoring and sustainability of wheat production by leveraging digital tools.
The initiative involves over 80 agricultural partners across Emilia-Romagna and Umbria, managing approximately 1,200 hectares of farmland. These partners enter detailed data on soil preparation, sowing, fertilization, crop protection, and harvesting into a digital platform developed by xFarm. The platform processes this information to generate actionable insights that help farmers optimize production quality, safety, and resource use, with a goal to reduce the supply chain’s environmental impact by 30%.
This project is part of Plasmon’s Oasi nella Crescita® program, which ensures traceability and control over raw materials used in baby food production. By integrating digital solutions into its supply chain, Plasmon strengthens its commitment to sustainable agriculture and transparency, positioning itself as a forward-thinking brand dedicated to supporting families and future generations.
