Aetna Group will be present at Drinktec 2025 (scheduled from September 15 to 19 in Munich) with an exhibition space of over 900 sqm (booth # A5-301) entirely dedicated to innovation in the beverage sector. Its stand will feature advanced stand-alone technologies showcasing a complete high-speed end-of-line system for 500ml beer cans. The demo line begins with the Dimac Nova Wide film shrink-wrapper (Robopac Packers), capable of reaching 120 packs per minute on a double track, resulting in approximately 90,000 cans per hour. Next comes the Mizar Advance layer forming system (OCME). This machine can achieve up to 40 cycles per minute and meets all the needs of high-speed beverage lines, also allowing for facing management thanks to a handling clamp that rotates the product 180°. Its compact and modular design stands out. In fact, it is engineered to integrate perfectly in complex production layouts or limited spaces. Another distinguishing feature is its very robust structure, designed for durability and support even in the most demanding work shifts. A further strength of this system is its ability to handle products at very high speeds while maintaining their integrity, due in large part to a soft handling system that allows layer formation without excessively stressing the packaging. This is especially important for lighter cans and PET bottles. It is also equipped with an advanced control system, featuring an intuitive and user-friendly interface, which enables recipe management via the newly developed PRM – Palletizing Recipe Manager software. This allows for efficient and centralized programming of work parameters and all movements, and has been designed for this new generation of palletizers.

The range continues with a dual-axis single-column palletiser equipped with a complete layer handling and management system. Thanks to its carbon clamp, only 5 mm thick, the tool ensures high performance (up to 8 layers per minute). All this while maintaining compactness, precision, and delicacy in picking and placing products, with a significant reduction in energy consumption. The machine’s design and accessibility are also distinctive features of this technology.

The cycle concludes with the Genesis Thunder automatic wrapping machine (Robopac), capable of handling pallets of various sizes with extremely high performance. This is the fastest machine on the market, stabilizing over 200 pallets per hour. Thunder ensures load stability, reduced use of plastic film, and maximum reliability even in high-speed applications.

To support logistics, the Auriga LGV (OCME) laser-guided vehicle is employed for pallet automatic handling. This is integrated into the layout to optimize logistic flows in the warehouse, reduce downtime, and increase safety and productivity.

Throughout the line, high-performance conveying systems are highlighted, a segment in which Aetna Group invests heavily through the new Aetna Link division. Thanks to the newly built facility (OCME 2), the Group is focused on producing conveyor systems that ensure the perfect connection between different machines, with centralized guides that greatly simplify format changes.

Alongside the line, the booth will also feature a selection of stand-alone machines, demonstrating the Group’s broad technological spectrum. The world premiere of the Helix 4/2 EVO (Robopac Systems) will be presented: the evolution of the well-established double rotary arm wrapper. Designed to deliver high performance, Helix 4/2 EVO can wrap up to 150 pallets per hour, even for large sized pallets. This confirms the product as the fastest solution on the market today for this type of application. In addition to speed, this new version focuses on robustness, reliability, and ease of use. Thanks to careful engineering and the latest technology, the machine guarantees reduced operating costs and minimal maintenance. This makes it ideal for intensive and continuous production cycles.

Among secondary packaging technologies, the new Меурасk VP500 case packer stands out, offering two alternating formats. The Partition Inserter System precisely places dividers between products, synchronizing with product formation before insertion into a wrap-around carton. The system ensures particularly gentle handling and optimal protection for glass bottles. The second format allows packing clusters of cans on trays. Modular design, a compact footprint, total accessibility, and perfectly synchronized movements are further advantages of this system.

Significant space is also dedicated to sustainability-oriented solutions. In this context, Aetna Group presents the Technoplat Paper Wrapper (Robopac Machinery), a turntable dedicated to wrapping with paper instead of traditional plastic film, and ReCYCLE, Robopac’s solution designed to compact and reduce the volume of packaging waste materials. The iconic Robot S7 is also on display in Munich. This is a self-propelled robot for pallet wrapping, built to wrap and stabilize palletized loads of any shape, size, and weight using stretch film.

The 900 sqm booth will also include two additional areas: one focused on after-sales technicians, a key area for the Group, and the TechLab, another strategic element that includes the industry’s most advanced research centre network. Both areas are staffed by specialists, offering Drinktec visitors the opportunity to learn more about the available expertise and services.
