Aetna Group is preparing for Cibustec, the international exhibition dedicated to food and beverage processing technologies, scheduled to take place in Parma from 27 to 30 October. The Group will exhibit in Hall 3, Stand A014, across a total area of 180 square metres.
“The stand will showcase some of the Group’s most successful solutions,” the company explained a few weeks ahead of the event.
Among the technologies on display will be Robot S7, the self-propelled wrapping robot developed by Robopac, Aetna Group’s main brand. The machine can wrap loads of any shape, size and weight thanks to its distinctive ability to move around the pallet. It combines flexibility, operational safety and high efficiency, meeting load handling and stabilisation requirements across a wide range of production environments.
Also on display will be Masterwrap, Robopac’s semi-automatic rotary-arm wrapping machine designed to stabilise heavy and unstable loads.
Sotemapack will present the WA20, an automatic case packer designed to package products using die-cut cardboard blanks. Robopac’s Prasmatic TCS will represent the Group’s range of case packers for medium- and high-speed production, with an output capacity of up to 55–65 packs per minute.
Aetna Group Food Experience: the exhibition continues at the Group’s production sites
Aetna Group’s participation in Cibustec will be complemented by the Aetna Group Food Experience, a programme of open-house events offering visitors the opportunity to explore the Group’s end-of-line innovation technologies directly at its production facilities. The initiative is designed to provide a natural continuation of the Cibustec exhibition experience.
The first event will take place at OCME’s historic headquarters in Parma and will focus on flexible packaging, with particular attention to the bakery, cereals and pasta, pet food and baby food sectors.
The experience will also feature technologies from Sotemapack and Meypack, whose portfolios, alongside that of OCME, include packaging, filling, palletising, depalletising and case-packing systems.
The lines will be fully operational during the visits, allowing participants to observe the functions, performance and integration of the different solutions first-hand and providing a practical, immersive experience.
The Aetna Group Food Experience programme will continue with further events dedicated to application testing, held both at the OCME plant and at Robopac’s facility in Castel San Pietro Terme. The latter serves as the Group’s headquarters and centre of excellence for wrapping technologies.
One of the highlights will be a visit to TechLab, the Group’s network of accredited laboratories, registration No. 1772L, where real transport conditions are simulated and analysed to identify the most suitable packaging and load-stabilisation configuration.
Scientific testing is used to determine the most effective solution for ensuring maximum product protection while minimising packaging material consumption, in line with the Group’s efficiency and sustainability objectives and with international regulatory requirements.
A technical talk on carton packaging for the beverage industry
A technical meeting dedicated to the handling of brick-shaped carton containers for the dairy and fruit juice sectors will also take place at the Aetna Group stand.
Led by Robopac specialists, the talk will examine the latest solutions for handling, packaging and stabilising this type of product, while presenting application examples and best practices developed by the Group.
